FireGlitter Glass has many uses as an accent and design element. Flame reflecting off of these elements create a dynamic flicker. When cold, it is a design element, in both color and shape, all by itself. When used with FireBalls, FireShapes or FireStones, you have created a complete look.
Uses: • Vented burner topper (CS or CXF). 1" thick over sand or volcanic ash is sufficient to mask the color beneath. Place FireBalls, FireShapes or FireStones on top to complete the look.
• Place around a set to reflect the flickering flame and to provide an additional design element.
• Use in an outdoor fire pit.
• Use as a decorative outdoor landscape feature.
FireGlitter is tempered for long-term heat consumption and tumbled to eliminate sharp edges. It will not melt, degrade, or emit toxic fumes.
90 pounds of FireGlitter will approximately fill 1 cubic foot.
To determine the minimum amount of glass required, compute using the following formulas by filling in the blanks (measure target area in inches):
For Rectangular uses (average front and rear widths for tapered fireplaces):
____ Width times ____ Depth times ____Thickness divided by 19.2 = ____Pounds of Glass required
Example: 24" Width, 12" Depth, 2" Thickness 24 X 12 X 2 ÷ 19.2 = 30 Pounds of Glass
For Circular uses (FirePits, flowerpots, etc.):
____ Diameter times ____Diameter times ____Thickness divided by 24.4= ____Pounds of Glass req.
Example: 24" Diameter, 2" Thickness 24 X 24 X 2 ÷ 24.4 = 47 Pounds of Glass
