▪Rasmussen reserves all rights, including the right to reject a sale before shipping for any reason. If we reject a sale, we will refund your payment in full.
▪All orders will be shipped as soon as possible. Some items may require manufacturing time, which in most cases will be no more than two weeks. We will notify you if we anticipate a lead time of more than one week from date of ordering to date of shipment.
▪Unless a specific method is requested (which may require additional payment), shipment will be made by the most economical method. All shipments are made F.O.B. Whittier, California, USA.
▪"Free Shipping" is offered to destinations in the "lower 48 states" of the USA. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada and Mexico will be quoted at time of order, and must be accepted by customer before we will ship. This may potentially require a separate credit card transaction for the shipping cost, even if the store shows "free shipping" or zero cost for the shipping. If you do not agree with the shipping cost, we will refund the purchase price and return the merchandise to our inventory. ADDITIONAL NOTE for shipments to Canada and Mexico - Please read below about Customs, Duties and Taxes.
▪Time from date of shipment to date of delivery is dependent on distance from Whittier, CA and method of shipment. For example, shipment to the East Coast via UPS is normally 5 working days, but 7 to 10 days if via truck line (common carrier).
Returns and Refunds
▪Rasmussen wants you to be satisfied with your purchase. New merchandise may be returned within 30 days of purchase. An "exchange" will be two transactions: 1) Return of old item, and 2) New Purchase of new item.
▪Return instructions are available by e-mail. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained through a Customer Service Representative by E-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
▪Clearance items cannot be returned; all clearance sales are final.
▪Large Backyard Grills, Portable Bromic Heaters, or items shipped via truck cannot be returned to us.
▪All returns for credit must be in original factory condition. Customer CANNOT return burned, used, or special order items.
▪All FireBalls, FireShapes, and FireStones are colored to order and may not be returned or exchanged except for defect (except Natural color which can be returned).
▪All defective returns are handled on a repair/replacement basis only.
▪Return shipments must be prepaid by customer returning merchandise. We do not accept COD shipments. Returned packages will not be accepted without the RMA number on the outside of the package.
▪Due to the nature of our products, all returned products must be thoroughly inspected and repackaged, therefore we charge a 20% re-stocking fee on all non-defective returns.
▪Please note that we do not refund shipping costs. If the order was originally shipped with "free freight", the cost of this shipping will be deducted from the credit issued for the returned merchandise.
▪We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. We will not issue credits until the merchandise has been received and inspected. All products must be returned in the original carton. Please package carefully to prevent damage during return shipping.
▪ Customers located in southern California may enter the words "will call" in the customer notes when placing an order if they wish to pick up the item rather than have it be shipped to them. The phone number provided in checkout will be called when the order is ready to be picked up. We are looking into better methods for providing this service through the checkout, we apologize for any inconvenience.
▪We cannot confirm the price of an item until it is ordered.
▪Your credit card/PayPal account is charged when your order is placed. We verify prices as part of our shipping procedures.
▪If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and ship you the item.
▪If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
▪All Specials and Closeouts are subject to in stock merchandise only. If an item is out of stock we will offer you a full refund or an upgrade at an additional charge.
You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Rasmussen, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Depending on the price of the item, the duties and taxes may far exceed the actual merchandise price, so please order wisely.
