Manual valve kit for Rasmussen gas log sets. Control the height of the flame manually at the burner by twisting the key. This valve does not have any automatic safety shutdown functionality. This item is not suited for use with Propane, as ALL Propane installations must have an automatic safety shutdown control system. This valve should not take the place of the Log Lighter Valve required by most codes to be located outside of, but near, the firebox.
